I was just wondering if I am the only GSD owner with a whiney dog on here. Gideon whine when he sees me, and when we are walking too. Does your dog do this?

Cookie doesn't. She will just stare at you with her sad brown eyes. She's always hungry.

I don't think it will get any worse.

You can try teaching 'hush' [something I really need to work on with Travis] if it really bothers you. If you are interested in teaching it and are unsure of how to start, feel free to ask ;]

Rex is a real whiney boy! When he is waiting to go out, you think that he is hurting! But the tail gives him away, it is a "happy" whine!

Electra is a real vocal dog. especially when we are playing fetch and the ball is thrown she sounds like she whines when she is running after the ball.

Zeus only whines when I won't give him the ball and keep it from him. I give him a "fooy" command and he keeps quite.

Cesar doesn't whine at all.

Noah only whines when I let him in after I get home from work. It's almost like he is trying to vocalize how excited he is to see me.
