I have a 7 year old male GSD who, about 2 weeks ago, started having issues with his left hind leg. The hock was swollen and he stopped using it (thankfully he is very muscular and not having an issue with only using 3 legs). My first thought was cancer, but thankfully that has pretty much been ruled out. My vet has taken numerous x-rays; 2 joint taps and a full lab panel and everything is normal. The anti-imflammatory that he was given has not helped at all, but he is on Tramadol for pain, which ...

The guy in the middle is Patrick. He is the one who provided the location for our AWSA/WSCC show. So, to Thank Patrick for letting us use his facility for free (the show's proceeds all went to White Shepherd Genetics Project) we took a group picture of WS with him.

We started with more dogs but before we were able to take picture some dogs took off to their human parents. LOL

Still kinda cool huh??

My main hard-drive (Hardrive "F") is...running out of disk space. I'm shaky, what if my computer get the blue screen of death now and I have to restart? With low disk space, can you restart without problems?

I think that it is partly because I have SO many pictures (and some videos, some of them long) stored on this drive. In fact, I am moving a BUNCH of them to drive G as we speak.

I even did disk space clean up, but it said that it cannot resolve the the low disk-space situation ...

Well, my mother won't drive me to the vet to have the baby euthinized. :/ I wish she would though, and at the same time I hope she doesn't.

See, I know the baby is quite injured, and the maggots don't help, but they baby is also doing better then before. He has started moving some.

I was on a site run by a lady who has rescued injured and orphaned baby Rabbits, and was doing some things she said on her site.

He hasn't been eating or drinking yet, so I've been giving him a mix ...

Okay, my family has been gone all day from about 11, and we just got home, so my mom goes into the front to check the mail.

Here si the weird thing. See the mail is a house mail thing, and it usually drops to the ground because nothing is under it, well today the mail was on Simba's stand and out front door was unlocked, which we always lock. Nothing was taken. We got our checks today and they were there, and if someone did get in they would have taken those and our other things most definatly. ...

My aunt brought this little falla over. Her dog was nipping and pawing at it, so she went over to grab it and saw it had two puncture wounds in its side. :C

We are for the time being taking care of it. I e-mailed the shelter seeing if they could help me locate a wild life reserve because around here there is nothing, so I needed some direction.

I'm asking because my grandma, who used to take care of Cookie, keeps complaining that she can feel Cookie's spine. She was complaining about that when Cookie started losing weight (she was overweight and on a diet) though...

Here's the most recent picture of her that may be helpful:

I can't feel her ribs that easily, but I can feel them, so I think that maybe it's her weight that is pulling on the skin around the spine, making it easier to feel.

I think she still needs to lose a couple ...

Today we got two birds. I named mine Reepicheep. Well after all, I have a dog with a name from the Chronicles of Naria (Dawntreader), so why not a bird?

My brother named his Spirit, because he's got a lot of spirit. Spirit was pecking my hand as I was placing him in the cage while Reep was as calm as could be while I was placing him in the cage.

Cookie and I haven't practiced in a good long time and on top of that it was hot today so Cookie didn't do as well as she used to. Sometimes she wouldn't even bother to jump up and catch the Frisbee, other times she would jump but miss on purpose, and still other times she actually caught it.

Just thought I would give anyone who is interested and update on Bash.

She has now passed her sell by date - Let me explain. Three months ago, having spent 48 hours in the local Referal hospital, trying to get her to stop having seizures, the brain specialist vet said that all we could do and hope for was to "buy her some extra time". Six weeks to three months he said.

Well, three months was up yesterday :3 So she is now gone over her best before end date

I guess I never posted Snowy's sheep herding picture. Well here it is. She was too young for HIC then but she did a great job. The instinct was definitely there. She will be old enough for HIC (with sheep) now and I will be testing her in Fowlerville, MI next month.
